Tivoli Estela Golf & Lodges officially opened following the complete redevelopment of the former Rio Alto Campsite, resulting in a luxury resort nestled between the sea and the renowned Estela Golf Course. The resort offers a variety of bungalows of different types, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a gym, a wellness center, restaurants, and extensive leisure areas fully integrated into the surrounding natural landscape.
DFS AVAC was responsible for the implementation of the air conditioning, ventilation, thermal energy production, and dehumidification systems for the main areas of the resort, including the reception, restaurant, indoor pool, and gym. The solutions were designed to ensure energy efficiency, operational stability, and high standards of comfort and air quality.
The installation incorporates a comprehensive set of equipment, including eight air handling units, four 85 kW gas boilers, twenty-one fans, as well as direct expansion systems consisting of twelve VRFs, two multisplits, and two monosplits. Additionally, a split heat pump, a solar thermal system with a dissipator, and ten circulation pumps were implemented to ensure the production and transfer of energy required for the overall operation of the facility. For the indoor pool, a 20 kW dehumidifier was installed to maintain proper hygrothermal control. The entire operation is monitored and optimized through a Centralized Building Management System (BMS).
