ELIS has developed its largest industrial unit and largest laundry in the Iberian Peninsula.
This was a highly technical challenge, due to the support systems for the production process, among which stand out the hot water distribution network and the cleaning products distribution network. In addition production hygiene requirements determined the installation of dedusting and suction systems.
Environmental and sustainability concerns were manifested in the system for collecting and treating industrial effluents, with the reuse of wash water, as well as in the reuse of accumulated energy for the process for the DHW system. In this reference project, it is also worth mentioning the air conditioning of the industrial building and the use of high performance façade and roof insulation to enhance energy efficiency and minimize the unit’s acoustic impact.
